Knowledge - Your Foundation
Self-mastery, in my opinion, is like building a house. First you build the foundation, then the frame and finally, design the interior to give it some character.
In the self-development arena KNOWLEDGE is the foundation. Without adequate understanding and creating the right mental attitude you'll stumble and give up; like the millions of people who sleepwalk through life!
But, unlike building a house there is no completion date to knowledge. You have to learn to love the process of gaining knowledge in your chosen field. None of us will ever know everything, but we can continuously improve from where we are today.
